I love drawing and painting. I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember, and when I create, I like to think that I’m opening doors to other worlds that we would otherwise never see. I’ve been an illustrator since 2002, and at the moment my favourite audience is children and young people. In 2010, I co-founded the Kame Academy with Iago Araújo, where we teach comic and illustration. I see myself as a medium between pencils and paper. I draw life because I live through drawing, and I write stories because I’m a medium between worlds. What I enjoy most is gazing at nature and listening to the whispers of the wind and the sea. If you find me talking to the trees, take a good look – I might be in the company of an elemental.
